Committees

The society’s mandate is carried out entirely by our volunteer committees. We encourage all our members to consider joining a committee! It’s a practical way to help raise awareness about addiction medicine while helping Canadian physicians and health care professionals to better prevent, diagnose, and treat addiction in their communities. If you are interested in joining the CSAM-SMCA Board of Directors or any of our committees, please contact us today.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee manages board-level issues that arise between board meetings, delegates work to other committees, and oversees the society’s finances. For a complete description of committee activities, read the Terms of Reference. To read the committee minutes, please visit our Minutes page.
